I had been looking for some time to replace my patio doors in our lounge as they had very wide plastic frames and wanted something that wouldn’t restrict the view up the garden

I asked to see if it was possible to view some already installed close by. Luckily there was, we went and viewed and was very impressed. I’ve seen lots of companies do bi-fold and there is actually one that is on the same industrial estate where I work, but no of them had the vision I was looking for.

I was impressed with the service I received from the initial enquiry to the eventual placing of order (we were longer getting round to doing these than first thought but I was never hassled from FGC)

The guys that fitted did a great job, very friendly and tidy.

I contacted FGC to try and marry up a few weather strips to replace old one’s which I have already fitted on glass curtains. The glass curtains were not supplied by FGC and the company who supplied them, when asked for replacement weather strips just said “we no longer have these in stock and not sure if we can still get them”.

FGC requested pictures of the seals and sent some samples free of charge for what they thought may help me. After trying them and finding out they were not wide enough, FGC said they will continue to investigate to try and find suitable replacements. I consider FGC customer service to be exceptional through continuous support via email, knowing they will not get a large profit from a few weather strips.

If I were to replace my glass curtains I would be contacting FGC knowing the customer service was second to none. I give them a 5 star rating.

FGC built my frameless porch as per the attached photo. The work was carried on time by their professional fitters. The quality of their work is outstanding. Nothing was overlooked and the final product was worth every penny. I am very happy with the investment I did.

When we purchased our house, it had two sets of timber bi fold doors, each spanning an opening of approx. 5m. These caused us a lot of problems with warping through the seasons, and the ration of timber to glass limited the light into the rooms.
We therefore replaced them with the frameless curtain system and could not have been happier. We could only be bothered with the faff of struggling to open the timber doors for special occasions, whereas the new doors we can open much more easily. However most importantly they let in considerably more light.
We were delighted with both actual product and the installation.

Everybody from survey to install knew what they had to do and advised on what needed to be done prior to install. The glass cutains are just what was needed for the porch and have created a talking point within the village. They do look splendid and we are very pleased with them.

Following the installation of our new FGC porch, I wanted to give a recommendation for the excellent and diligent service, and wonderful product we received from FGC.

Numerous people have commented since we had the work done, and it has clearly added value – both visually and financially – to our property.

Also, when the guys came to fit the product, it was noted that there was a slight flaw in one of the specially shaped pieces of glass which to be honest I didn’t even spot. They noted this, informed us, left the porch in a fitted but completely safe and usable state, they then remanufactured a replacement piece and arranged a special visit (a 300+ mile round trip) to come and refit the part in question. Their service, commitment and attention to detail was incredible both on the road and from the office.
